FEELSCAPE Terms of Use

1. The Service

The Service uses the sensors built into your phone to measure the sound, light, crowding, air pressure, vibration and more of a space, and shows a sense index, records and reports.

It is used without sign-up or an account, and measuring and calculation happen on the device.

2. Nature of the measurements

• Measurements are reference values obtained with phone sensors. They do not replace results from certified instruments (such as a sound level meter) or legal proof. They can differ from reality depending on the phone model, whether the microphone is calibrated and where the phone is placed.
• Sound types, door detection, directions and similar results are estimates made by on-device AI and calculation, and can be wrong.
• The sense index, sleep environment score, explanations and advice do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or professional judgment.
• Noise reports and PDFs are reference material for describing a situation. Whether they are accepted as evidence in mediation or court is decided by the body concerned.

3. Your responsibilities

• Use the Service in compliance with applicable law and without infringing the rights of others.
• Use features meant for moving around, such as walk mapping, only while paying attention to your surroundings. Do not use the Service while driving.
• Do not measure other people's spaces without permission, and do not use results to defame or harass anyone.
• Do not interfere with the normal operation of the Service, and do not copy, modify or redistribute it beyond what the open-source licenses allow.

4. Data and backup

Measurement records are stored only on your device. The Operator does not keep them, so they cannot be recovered if you delete the app, change phones or your phone breaks. Keep the records you need yourself with the app's backup, PDF or CSV export.

Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

5. Ads and paid features

The Service is free and may show ads (Google AdMob). Advertisers are responsible for the content of ads and for transactions made through them.

If paid features are offered in the future, the price, scope and refund terms will be shown in the app before payment, and payment and refunds follow Google Play policies and applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service's design, text, code and the way the sense index is calculated belong to the Operator. Open-source software and map data included in the Service follow their own licenses, which you can read under "Open-source licenses" in the app.

The records you measure and the files you export are yours.

7. Changes and interruption

The Operator may improve, change or discontinue parts of the Service, and will announce important changes in advance in the app or on the website.

Some features may temporarily not work because of external services such as map tiles or ads.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is, with no warranty that measurements are accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the free Service. This does not apply to damage caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on measurement results, such as moving home, contracts, handling disputes or health-related judgments.

9. Changes to these terms

Changes are announced on the website and in the app from 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you agree to the changed terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service by uninstalling the app.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved in the court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Users in countries with mandatory consumer protection rules keep the protection of those rules.

If versions of these terms in different languages differ, the Korean version prevails.
